Dear BHM Core Group, Brighton and Hove Black History Walk – Event Must Be pre-booked Saturday 8th Sept, start time 11am.
as part of Brighton & Hove Heritage Open Door.
Extensive and fascinating walk around central Brighton, exploring various aspects of Black History, with Bert Williams MBE of Brighton& Hove Black History. Participants will receive a free Black History booklet as a memento of the walk. This event is scheduled to last approximately 2 hours. book online here:

Discover one of Brighton’s links with India. This tour takes you by land-rover from the India Gate at the Royal Pavilion to the Chattri Memorial on the downs above Patcham. Discover the connection between these two beautiful memorials and the Indian soldiers who fought in the First World War.
